At Thesis, we believe school should be a place where children learn to be good and do good. That means growing in character and competence: becoming thoughtful, capable young people who use what they learn to make a real difference to the people around them.
Many families already live this out every day, through lives spent serving others.
So for January 2027, Thesis is offering 20 scholarships for children whose parents serve in Christian ministry and who share our philosophy of education. Applications are now open for children joining Primary Years 1 to 4 in January 2027.
The In Reach Scholarship covers the main cost of your child’s education: the school fee. Your child has exactly the same Thesis experience as every other child, and the application and registration fees are waived.
Scholarship families pay a family contribution of RM650 per term towards the day-to-day running of Thesis, along with the resource fee and a refundable deposit.
Fees are billed each term, with 3 terms a year. Since a scholar starts the 2026/2027 academic year at Term 2 (January 2027), a scholar family will only need to contribute for 2 terms in that academic year.
A few things aren't covered by the scholarship, so it's worth planning for them now.
The scholarship renews each year through Year 6, as long as your child continues to meet the scholarship terms, including attendance, conduct, and continued ministry service. The full terms are in the scholarship agreement that comes with your offer.
In Reach scholars are not set apart in anyway. Every child here is simply part of Thesis.
The In Reach Scholarship is for families where at least one parent or guardian works for a church or Christian organisation as their main job. That includes pastors, clergy, missionaries, church staff, and people working for Christian charities and ministries.
When you apply, we’ll ask for a ministry reference: someone who can confirm your current role, such as your senior pastor or line manager. Not sure if your role counts? Email hello@thesis.school and we’ll tell you.
For the January 2027 intake, scholarships areopen to children joining Primary Years 1 to 4.
We are looking for families who share the way we think about education.
At Thesis, education is about more than marks. We care about who children are becoming as much as what they are learning.
Here, character and competence grow together. We want children to be kind, good, and wise, and also curious, capable learners who can think, create, solve problems, and find their way in a world that keeps changing.
Our Christian foundation shapes how we think about character and service, while children and families of every faith and background are welcome at Thesis.
The process is a chance for you to get to know Thesis, and for us to get to know your family and your child.
1. Tell us about your family
Fill in our short interest form with a few details about your family, your child, your ministry, and how you think about education. You can book your parent consultation and tour at the same time. You’ll get an automatic confirmation, and our admissions team will follow up personally on WhatsApp within two working days.
2. Come and see Thesis
At your parent consultation and tour, you’ll meet our team, see an ordinary day at Thesis, and get a feel for how children learn here. Where possible during the visit, your child can observe and experience a part of a class. Consultation tours run on Tuesdays and Thursdays, with some Saturday tour dates also available.
3.Full-day trial
If your application moves forward, your child is invited to spend a full day at Thesis. Every child joining Thesis does a trial day. It lets our teachers see how your child learns, joins in, and gets on with others, and it gives your child a chance to feel at home before they start.
4. We review your application
We look at your application, your child’s trial day, and how closely your education perspectives align with Thesis. We may also contact your ministry reference to confirm your role.
5.Scholarship offer
Offers are made in two rounds. If you are successful, you’ll receive a formal offer setting out the award, its terms, and the next steps, and you’ll have one week to accept.
Round 1: complete your application, consultation, trial day, and reference by Friday 23 October. Offers go out on Friday 30 October. Accept by Friday 6 November.
Round 2 (final): complete everything by Friday 20 November. Offers go out on Friday 27 November. Accept by Friday 4 December.
Strong applicants who are not offered a place in round 1 may be waitlisted for round 2.
6.Accept and join Thesis
Once you accept, our admissions team will take you through the rest: the scholarship agreement, the deposit, uniform, and orientation, ready for your child to start in Term 2, January 2027.
Applications are open now for the January 2027 intake.
